Documentary Movie/Book-
In 2001, a roller derby revival was born in Austin, TX. In 2006, the A&E t.v. show "Rollergirls" helped ignite the wildfire of derby across the nation. By now, every city has several teams of women that race around the track in quad skates, bust their way through the blockers, and risk major fishnet burn in this hardcore full contact sport. Roller derby is a grassroots sisterhood, promoting women's endurance, toughness, and confidence. Snakegirl Productions is currently filming/interviewing for a documentary movie and book about roller derby.
